STUNNING artwork went on show when we opened a gallery in school and invited the community to come in.
The focus of ‘A Celebration of the Arts at Pleckgate’ was to showcase the wonderful artwork that had been created by GCSE students.
Art teacher Miss Bracewell said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to teach the students and the exhibition was designed to showcase their amazing talents through their fantastic artwork.
“There was also exhibition space dedicated to work of Years 7, 8, and 9 and extra-curricular art events this year.
“‘A Celebration of the Arts at Pleckgate’ is a great opportunity for us to show our appreciation for all the students’ hard work and determination throughout their GCSE studies.
“It is also a valuable opportunity for the school and community to view their truly high quality artwork and gain an insight into the arts here at Pleckgate.”
